My wife and I have been bringing our cars to these guys for over 5 years. They do excellent work, don't try to sell you anything you don't need, and deliver top tier customer service. Brian and Jay are very friendly and professional. My wife and I are moving away from SD, and they offered to help us find a new trustworthy mechanic, and transfer over our repair history once we get settled in our new location. Who does that!? These guys.

The much-delayed servicing, owing to the combination and extensive repair following an accident, went very quickly and efficiently. Throughout the staff were friendly and solicitous. I was so happy to be back at this car-care location, which I have been using for ten years.

The service here is great! Everyone is respectful and friendly. They checked over my Honda Fit and let me know what needed to be done. I agreed and all was done to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to send them new customers!

This is my third visit to John's Automotive La Mesa as my engine mount arrived and it was time to install it in Fiati. As I have mentioned in earlier postings, the communication is top notch. Appointment was made and a text message reminder was sent the day before. The work was completed on the appointment day and Fiati drives like a newer car. Brian and Jay were a pleasure to work with and will answer your questions without talking to you in a condescending way which is greatly appreciated. All the work to be done had been explained as well as what the costs would be. We will be taking the family vehicles to John's Automotive as my older son will be driving soon and teaching him the responsibility of owning and maintaining a vehicle for safe operation. Thank you again John's Automotive La Mesa (Brian, Jay, and staff) for everything. See you soon for my next oil change. The team at John’s is great. They are very kind and provide detailed assessments of needed work. They are clear on what needs to be done immediately and on what can be delayed for a little while. They remember us as customers, and understand and remember our car’s intricacies. Let’s face it, car repair and maintenance is a bit of a hassle. The team at John’s understands this and they do their job to get the car back on the road quickly. Brian always has a smile and is super helpful.
