This review is past due. John's of La Mesa has recently repaired and/or diagnosed 3 of our family cars. Bringing in my 2001 Ford Expedition next. Hoping the guys can bring her back to life. Kudos to Brian the Service Advisor. This guy is thorough, transparent, friendly, and honest. What a refreshing experience! Perfect example of how to to run a customer-first business.

Was able to get an appointment really quick. Guys were cool and professional during check-in and I really appreciate the communication throughout the day. Looking for a go-to shop now that all my new-car warranties have expired. This shop just might be that place.

I scheduled a multi-point checkup of my 2011 Lincoln in advance of a trip. This my first experience with John's Automotive Care was great! They found I needed air filters and windshield wipers replaced. Brian was great at keeping me informed as to progress while I waited. The whole experience was personal and professional. I recommend John's.

The service manager Brian was outstanding gave me time to listen on the needs of my vehicle fixed it within the reasonable requested time the shuttle for me to get back and forth from work was outstanding highly highly recommend John's Automotive Care in la Mesa.

Had my water pump, fan belt, radiator and a few other things go out while in San Diego, 8 hours from home. Happened on a Sunday and the guys had my truck ready by Thursday. They were very professional and reassuring in what was an irritating and stressful couple of days. Made it home with no further issues. Expedient and affordable, all things considered. Next time I break down in San Diego I’ll be visiting them again.
