Guys were very thorough. They even updated the time on my clock which I don’t usually bother to change when we do a time change. Will definitely bring my truck back to them again for any future servicing.

Dealer told me 1 1/2 years ago that my bmw i3 needed front brake pads. It was also 6 months past oil change. Although John’s automotive doesn’t change oil on my car they checked it and told me it was clean as a whistle. Saved me 400$ at the dealer. They also said my brake pads were fine 😳. It’s nice to have an honest shop to check out my car. I’ll be taking my car there from now on. Thanks John’s automotive!

Another fantastic experience with John's Automotive Care in La Mesa. I live in Lakeside and work in Rancho San Diego but take my vehicle to this location due to their honesty when recommending work to be done and at a fair price. Their communication with you is outstanding. You will receive a text message and an email reminding you of your upcoming appointment. Then you will receive a text message and email when your vehicle is being worked on with recommended service items listed by color (red-yellow-green) with the red as essential, yellow recommended, and green as items inspected. I have never felt like I was upsold on unnecessary work, just work to keep my vehicle working correctly and safely. Thank you Jay and Brian for all of your help as well as the rest of the office staff and mechanics. I have never had to use their shuttle service so I cannot address that service. Highly recommend John's Automotive for all of your family vehicles.

Being a single elderly lady I really appreciate john’s automotive services. They always check my car out throughly and give me honest details about what my car needs. I trust them explicitly. They go beyond for me when they give me directions on how to set my radio stations and set the stations as they’re doing it. They check my tire pressure and oil and even install my windshield wipers when I bring them to the shop. They’ve earned my complete trust when it comes to honest and friendly service!
