Great service, friendly and their prices compared to other auto service providers is great. But the best is the whole attitude of everyone you come into contact. I no longer go to the dealer and I trust the work at Johns.

I was having battery issues and Brian checked it out immediately. We were concerned that the alternator may be part of the problem, but after diagnosing the problem, it was determined that I just needed a new battery. Problem solved. Great service!

I have been taking my cars to John's Automotive Care in La Mesa for 3 years, and have consistently received amazing customer service and repair work. They provide clear written information about the work needing to be done, along with providing pictures showing the exact areas which need repair or replacement. I appreciate that the mechanic is knowledgable, calls me to explain their assessment, and gets approval before any work is done. Their prices are very fair and reasonable. These guys continue to be rock stars of service. My Mustang quit running on me- I contacted John's to get a towing referral which worked out to be a great choice. Car was taken to the La Mesa location, unloaded and pushed inside for safe storage over the Thanksgiving holiday. I received a call with the diagnosis of failed fuel pump on Monday morning, agreed to the service proposal and had the car back on Tuesday! It's running great again- Thanks
