I was recommended to this service shop from a good friend and they sure delivered. Brian was great from the moment I walked in…very friendly and easy going. My service was done on time and the app they use to update you is fantastic . These guys do great, honest work and it’s no surprise that they keep opening new locations. I’ll be a long time customer!

I have been taking my cars to John's Automotive Care in La Mesa for 3 years, and have consistently received amazing customer service and repair work. They provide clear written information about the work needing to be done, along with providing pictures showing the exact areas which need repair or replacement. I appreciate that the mechanic is knowledgable, calls me to explain their assessment, and gets approval before any work is done. Their prices are very fair and reasonable. There have never been any additional concerns with work completed by the mechanics. I highly recommend John's Automotive Care in La Mesa for anyone needing tune-ups or repair work for their cars.

These guys continue to be rock stars of service. My Mustang quit running on me- I contacted John's to get a towing referral which worked out to be a great choice. Car was taken to the La Mesa location, unloaded and pushed inside for safe storage over the Thanksgiving holiday. I received a call with the diagnosis of failed fuel pump on Monday morning, agreed to the service proposal and had the car back on Tuesday! It's running great again- Thanks

Guys were very thorough. They even updated the time on my clock which I don’t usually bother to change when we do a time change. Will definitely bring my truck back to them again for any future servicing.

Dealer told me 1 1/2 years ago that my bmw i3 needed front brake pads. It was also 6 months past oil change. Although John’s automotive doesn’t change oil on my car they checked it and told me it was clean as a whistle. Saved me 400$ at the dealer. They also said my brake pads were fine 😳.
