So I've been to a lot of car shops in my day, and to be honest. I've never been more comfortable and relaxed in a shop before. The atmosphere is calm and the workers are super friendly. Dave and Brian helped me out with a car issue I had and they made sure to take care of the problem. Gave me a lot of relief I'll tell ya that. Actually it was a 1965 Mustang that Dave and company serviced in a way that was timely and responsive. But my 1966 will be next for your caring service. Especially with these older cars there's always something or so it seems. Bob

New to the area i had been looking for a good place to take my vehicle for a couple of months. My mechanic is in San Bernardino by my office. To avoid the long drive to San Bernardino i wanted to find something close to home. For the last two days I've been trying to get an oil change. Long story short I've been all over and given the run around. Feeling frustrated i stumbled upon this gem. From the moment i walked in the door the level of service and professionalism truly exceeded my expectations. Scheduling an appointment was quick and seamless. Fast forward to today, I arrived on time and was thanked by the staff. Refreshments and snacks were provided while i waited. They made sure I was aware of how their process worked with no up-selling. AAA recommended John’s Auto Care and I was very pleased with the welcoming and honest approach. The car my daughter drives was towed to John’s. It would not start. It wasn’t the battery or the stater or the lack of fuel. It was a bad chip in the key fob. They figured it out. Now daughter has a “go to” shop for her car while attending SDSU. Also one less worry for mom and dad. I feel she is in good hands with Dave and the team at John’s.

The owner and staff are excellent. I started taking my car regularly to the original JAC in Grantville years ago after they won me over with their superior service and integrity. I moved to La Mesa a couple of years ago and was delighted when I found out that they opened a second shop. Although they have a shuttle service, now I am close enough to walk for dropping off and picking up my car. I can count on timely repairs and honest communication and my cars are well-maintained as a result. My only hiccup is that they are a M-F facility so if I need something done on a Saturday, I take my vehicle to John's in Grantville.
