John's automotive did an excellent job on my truck. Customer service was amazing, their inspection and appraisal were accurate and affordable. I have used many different automotive shops in San Diego in the past. After this experience I will take all my vehicles to John's and recommend them to all my friends.

John has carried on the tradition of high-quality auto care and customer service that practiced by Harloff's. Just recently they fixed a problem with my smog test that the dealer could not figure. The cost of that diagnosis and repair was about the same dealer charged for an unsuccessful diagnosis. I give them my strongest recommendation. They are all very friendly (personable) and professional. I am so glad they there when we need them. BTW, I saw on a social-networking site where someone was thankful for the pro bono work John's crew did for them when they were in need! I Luv em :)

I have had my Jeep at several shops in the last couple of years and spent lots of money. Still after all that it still had the Death Wabble. John's Automotive provides detailed assessment of your vehicle, even if you just need routine work done. They include very clear pictures of what they see, rate issues to monitor on clear report featuring green (things o.k.), yellow (things to consider and keep an eye on) and red (things that need immediate attention). All this comes on your phone or email. Need a filter change? There's a photo that shows how dirty the old one is. All this and work performed at reasonable prices, too. And they'll drop you off back home, and pick you up when your car is ready. How handy is that?
